Deflash Evolution Deburring machine

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The process is simple and requires minimal skills on the part of the operator; the deburring machine can work through manual cycles or by automatic process. In the latter case, the operator randomly “pours” a number of molds until about 30 percent of the volume of the cylinder/turbine is filled (normally it is 4 to 8 molds) depending on the type of pieces and according to the design of the mold. These parts, are housed at the top of the cylinder/turbine in a storage space. At the end of the previous deburring, the material is dropped inside the cylinder/turbine and then proceeded to deburring. During the work cycle, the operator has the option of pouring in more material for the next deburring. Deburring cycle times, turbine rotation speed, and other parameters are stored in the PLC and assigned to one or more items so they can be recalled while avoiding errors. During the process, water can be sprayed to cool the workpiece being deburred or emulsions can be sprayed at adjustable times and durations.

The equipment is also equipped with a vacuum cleaner to retain residual dust. At the end of the cycle, the mold is ejected through an opening held securely by a proximity sensor that opens only in the last 5 seconds.
